Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct initial assessments of patients' physical and mental abilities and create individualized treatment plans.
  2. Utilize evidence-based practice and therapeutic techniques to provide effective interventions for patients.
  3. Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  4. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and strategies for managing their condition.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  6. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families, creating a safe and supportive environment.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  9. Continuously expand knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.
  10. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
  11. Advocate for patients' rights and needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  13. Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  15. Collaborate with insurance companies, case managers, and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate reimbursement for services provided.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • Current State Licensure As An Occupational Therapist.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Occupational Therapist, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Occupational Therapy Principles, Techniques, And Equipment.
