- Oversee the daily operations of the behavioral health unit and ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.

- Utilize clinical expertise and knowledge of behavioral health to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards to promote patient safety and satisfaction.
- Serve as a resource for staff and provide ongoing education and training on best practices in behavioral health nursing.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to facilitate a positive and collaborative treatment environment.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of patient care.
- Promote a culture of compassion, respect, and professionalism among staff to create a positive work environment.

Active Rn License: A Nursing Supervisor In Behavioral Health At Universal Health Services Must Possess A Current And Active Rn License In The State Where The Facility Is Located. This License Ensures That The Individual Is Qualified To Practice Nursing And Adhere To State Regulations.
Experience In Behavioral Health: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Behavioral Health Setting. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team And Overseeing Patient Care In A Psychiatric Or Mental Health Facility.
Leadership Skills: As A Nursing Supervisor, One Must Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Guide A Team Of Nurses. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Constructive Feedback, And Motivate Team Members To Provide High-Quality Care.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: Universal Health Services Places A Strong Emphasis On Regulatory Compliance, And A Nursing Supervisor Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Behavioral Health. This Includes Knowledge Of Hipaa, Osha, And Other Relevant Laws And Guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Abilities: Effective Communication Is Crucial In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment, And A Nursing Supervisor Must Possess Exceptional Communication Skills.
