  1. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients using music and art therapy techniques.
  2. Conduct assessments to identify patients' emotional, mental, and physical needs.
  3. Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions using music and art therapy interventions.
  4. Create a safe and supportive environment for patients to express themselves through music and art.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
  7. Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patients' progress and needs.
  8. Educate patients and their families on the benefits and goals of music and art therapy.
  9. Stay updated on the latest research and developments in music and art therapy.
  10. Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines in all aspects of job performance.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to promote a positive therapeutic environment.
  12. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the interdisciplinary treatment approach.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized therapy space, ensuring all materials and equipment are available and in good working condition.
  14. Act as an advocate for patients and the importance of music and art therapy in their treatment.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of music and art therapy.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification From The American Music Therapy Association (Amta) Or The American Art Therapy Association (Aata).

  • Bachelor's Degree In Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As A Music Therapist Or Art Therapist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Music And Art Therapy Techniques, As Well As The Ability To Adapt Them To Different Populations And Treatment Goals.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Communicate With Clients And Their Families.
