- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients suffering from mental health issues.
- Support patients' well-being by assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication administration.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs, behaviors, and progress towards treatment goals.
- Implement and follow treatment plans as directed by licensed mental health professionals.
- Foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients through effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and treatment protocols.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized patient care environment.
- Continuously assess and report any changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate team members.
- Serve as a positive role model for patients, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and self-care practices.
- Attend to any other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Ability To Maintain Accurate Patient Records.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting.
Certification In Mental Health First Aid Or Crisis Intervention.
