Mental Health Technician Adult Unit - PT Nights - 12-Hr Shifts

1. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients in the Adult Unit, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
2. Assist in the implementation of treatment plans and interventions prescribed by mental health professionals.
3. Monitor and document patients' behaviors, progress, and responses to treatment.
4. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the treatment team to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
5. Participate in patient care conferences and provide valuable input to the treatment team.
6. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients by enforcing unit rules and regulations.
7. Administer medications and treatments as directed by medical staff.
8. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
9. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
10. Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
11. Attend and participate in trainings and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals.
14. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Universal Health Services.
15. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing the organization at all times.
