
Mental Health Technician

- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients undergoing mental health treatment.
- Assist patients with daily tasks and activities as needed, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Monitor patients' behavior and report any changes or concerns to the treatment team.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, including crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Administer and document patient assessments, vital signs, and other medical procedures as directed by the treatment team.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders and treatment options.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and provide input on patient progress and needs.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field
Previous Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably With Diverse Populations
Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Methods
Ability To Handle Sensitive And Potentially Stressful Situations With Empathy And Professionalism
