As a Manager of Regulatory, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards in the healthcare industry. This position requires someone with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.   1. Oversee and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards in the healthcare industry.
  2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
  3. Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations and update internal processes accordingly.
  4. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify any potential compliance issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
  5. Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies and respond to inquiries and requests for information.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and compliant approach to healthcare operations.
  7. Train and educate staff on regulatory requirements and monitor their adherence to policies and procedures.
  8. Create and maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
  9. Address any compliance concerns or violations in a timely and effective manner.
  10. Provide guidance and support to the organization on regulatory matters.
  11. Lead and manage a team of regulatory professionals, providing mentorship, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  12. Continuously assess and improve the organization's compliance efforts to promote quality healthcare services.
  13. Communicate regularly with senior management on regulatory issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  14. Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to regulatory compliance.
  15. Represent the organization in meetings or events related to regulatory matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Policies And Procedures: A Manager - Regulatory At Universal Health Services Should Have A Strong Understanding Of All Relevant Regulatory Policies And Procedures At The Local, State, And Federal Levels. This Includes Knowledge Of Laws Such As Hipaa, Medicare, And Medicaid.

  • Experience In Healthcare Industry: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In The Healthcare Industry, Preferably In A Regulatory Or Compliance Role. This Experience Should Include Working With Government Agencies And Managing Compliance Audits.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Manager - Regulatory, Effective Communication Is Crucial. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Internal Teams, Government Agencies, And External Stakeholders.

  • Attention To Detail: The Healthcare Industry Is Heavily Regulated, And Even The Smallest Oversight Can Result In Significant Consequences. A Manager - Regulatory Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Potential Compliance Issues Before They Become Major Problems.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: This Position Will Require Managing A Team Of Regulatory Specialists, So Candidates Should Have Experience In Leadership And Management. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members, Delegate Tasks, And Resolve Conflicts Effectively.
