  1. Provide exceptional care to patients: The primary responsibility of an LPN/LVN at UHS is to provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients.
  2. Work as part of a healthcare team: LPNs/LVNs will work alongside other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and registered nurses, to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
  3. Administer medication and treatments: LPNs/LVNs will be responsible for administering prescribed medications and treatments to patients, ensuring they are done safely and accurately.
  4. Monitor patient's health: LPNs/LVNs will regularly monitor and assess the health status of patients, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records: It is the responsibility of LPNs/LVNs to document all patient care and interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Educate patients and their families: LPNs/LVNs will provide education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, treatments, and self-care.
  7. Assist with procedures and treatments: LPNs/LVNs may assist doctors and other healthcare professionals with various medical procedures and treatments.
  8. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: LPNs/LVNs will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  9. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols: It is the responsibility of LPNs/LVNs to adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  10. Continuously develop knowledge and skills: LPNs/LVNs should stay up-to-date with healthcare practices and procedures and continuously develop their knowledge and skills through training and education opportunities.
  11. Uphold ethical and professional standards: LPNs/LVNs should uphold ethical and professional standards at all times while representing UHS.
  12. Maintain confidentiality: LPNs/LVNs are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of patient information and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Lpn/Lvn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Active License As A Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn) Or Licensed Vocational Nurse (Lvn) In The State Where The Facility Is Located.

  • Minimum Education And Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, As Well As Completion Of An Accredited Lpn/Lvn Program. Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting Is Preferred.

  • Strong Clinical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Foundation In Basic Nursing Skills, Including Medication Administration, Wound Care, And Patient Assessment. They Should Also Have The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
