Intake Specialist, BSW

10. Stay current on industry developments and best practices in the field of social work to continuously improve patient care.
11. Coordinate with insurance companies and other payers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
12. Assist with discharge planning and make appropriate referrals for ongoing care.
13. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
14. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and families as needed.
