1. Conduct initial evaluations of patients seeking mental health treatment at our facility.
2. Admit patients into our program based on their individual needs and treatment goals.
3. Gather and assess information from patients, their families, and referring professionals to determine appropriate treatment plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and resources available.
5. Work closely with the treatment team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient intake and admission processes.
7. Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
8. Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
9. Stay up-to-date on current mental health research, best practices, and treatment modalities.
10. Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
11. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
12. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and treatment team members to facilitate effective communication.
13. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
14. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
