  1. Provide high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an inpatient setting.
  2. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.
  3. Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient progress.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  6. Stay current on advancements and best practices in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.
  7. Build rapport and establish a trusting relationship with patients and their families.
  8. Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders and treatment options.
  9. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide input on patient care.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the practice of psychiatry.
  11. Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  13. Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient care.
  15. Act as a mentor and resource for other healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Qualified Candidate For An Inpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist Job At Universal Health Services Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Child And Adolescent Psychiatry By The American Board Of Psychiatry And Neurology.

  • Residency Training: The Candidate Should Have Completed A Residency Program In Psychiatry And A Fellowship Program In Child And Adolescent Psychiatry.

  • Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Unrestricted License To Practice Medicine In The State Where The Position Is Located.

  • Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Child And Adolescent Patients In An Inpatient Setting, Preferably In A Psychiatric Hospital.
