  1. Operate and maintain imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for patient care.
  2. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  3. Perform imaging procedures according to protocols and accurately document all findings.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and diagnosis of imaging results.
  5. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  6. Monitor and manage inventory of imaging supplies and equipment.
  7. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Follow strict safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment for all staff and patients.
  9. Continuously update and expand knowledge of imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
  10. Provide exceptional patient care by addressing any concerns or questions and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and imaging reports.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  13. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  15. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  16. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  17. Provide support and assistance to other imaging technicians as needed.
  18. Act as a positive representative of Universal Health Services and promote a positive image of the organization.
  19. Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in imaging technology.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Certification: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For An Imaging Technician Position.
