  1. Develop and implement comprehensive violence prevention strategies and protocols for all hospital departments.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of concern for violence in the hospital.
  3. Collaborate with hospital staff to identify and address potential triggers for violence, including de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
  4. Train and educate hospital staff on violence prevention and management techniques.
  5. Conduct regular safety drills and simulations to ensure staff are prepared for potential violent situations.
  6. Serve as a resource for staff and patients, providing support and guidance in managing and de-escalating potentially violent situations.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all violent incidents and interventions.
  8. Stay updated on current research and best practices in violence prevention and intervention.
  9. Collaborate with local law enforcement and community organizations to address violence in the hospital and surrounding areas.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve violence prevention strategies and protocols based on data and feedback.

  12. Communicate effectively with hospital leadership and staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all.
  13. Participate in hospital safety committees and initiatives to promote a culture of violence prevention and safety.

  15. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information regarding violent incidents and interventions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Or Social Services Setting

  • Knowledge Of Trauma-Informed Care And Experience Working With Victims Of Violence
