  1. Accurately and timely process medical billing and collections for patients.
  2. Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely payment.
  3. Identify and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
  4. Maintain communication with patients, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers to resolve billing inquiries.
  5. Utilize medical billing and coding software to accurately document and track patient accounts.
  6. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding medical billing and collections.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to improve billing processes and procedures.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and external stakeholders.
  9. Meet and exceed individual and team goals for collections and accounts receivable metrics.
  10. Keep up-to-date with changes in medical billing and coding regulations and guidelines.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA regulations.
  12. Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
  13. Participate in regular team meetings and provide feedback for process improvement.
  14. Ensure all billing and collections activities are compliant with company policies and procedures.
  15. Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve billing issues and disputes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Medical Billing And A/R Collections.

  • Proficiency In Medical Billing Software And Electronic Health Records (Ehr) Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Coding And Billing Regulations, Including Hipaa.

  • Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations And Effectively Negotiate Payment Arrangements.
