  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  3. Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar accurately.
  4. Check patients in and out, verifying insurance information and collecting payments as needed.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  6. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and patient flow.
  7. Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
  8. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  9. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
  11. Keep track of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and management.
  13. Stay updated on all clinic services, policies, and procedures.
  14. Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  15. Continuously strive to provide exceptional customer service and patient satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Education Level Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates Basic Knowledge And Competency In Communication And Organization Skills.

  • Customer Service Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Will Ensure They Are Able To Effectively Handle Patient Inquiries And Complaints With Professionalism And Empathy.

  • Computer Proficiency: The Candidate Should Have Basic Computer Skills, Including Knowledge Of Microsoft Office And Experience With Electronic Medical Records Systems. This Will Ensure They Are Able To Efficiently Input And Retrieve Patient Information.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Front Desk Receptionist, The Candidate Will Be The First Point Of Contact For Patients And Visitors. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, To Ensure Clear And Effective Communication With Patients, Coworkers, And Healthcare Professionals.

  • Ability To Multitask: A Successful Candidate Should Be Able To Multitask And Handle A High Volume Of Tasks And Responsibilities. This Includes Answering Phone Calls, Scheduling Appointments, Checking Patients In And Out, And Handling Financial Transactions. They Should Also Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Work Efficiently Under Pressure.
