  1. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using expressive arts modalities such as music, art, or recreation therapy.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic treatment for patients.
  4. Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to facilitate healing and growth in patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  6. Create a safe and supportive environment for patients to explore and express themselves through the arts.
  7. Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of expressive therapy.
  9. Provide education and support to patients and their families on the benefits of expressive therapy.
  10. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job performance.
  11. Participate in supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
  12. Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Advocate for the role of expressive therapy in mental health treatment.
  14. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards patients and their unique circumstances.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Or Recreation Therapy From An Accredited University.

  • Certification As A Music Therapist, Art Therapist, Or Recreation Therapist From The American Music Therapy Association, American Art Therapy Association, Or National Council For Therapeutic Recreation Certification.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting With Individuals With Mental Health Disorders.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Diagnoses And Treatment Approaches.
