- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for patients to explore and express themselves creatively.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and techniques in expressive therapy.

Bachelor's Degree In Expressive Therapy Or A Related Field: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Expressive Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Recreation Therapy, Or Drama Therapy. This Degree Should Be From An Accredited Institution And Demonstrate A Solid Foundation In The Theories And Techniques Of Expressive Therapy.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Or Mental Health Setting: Expressive Therapists At Universal Health Services Will Be Working With Patients Who Have Various Mental Health And Behavioral Issues. Therefore, It Is Important For Candidates To Have Previous Experience In A Healthcare Or Mental Health Setting, Demonstrating Their Ability To Work With Vulnerable Populations.
Certified Or Registered In Their Respective Field: Depending On The Specific Field Of Expressive Therapy (Art, Music, Recreation, Drama), Candidates Should Be Certified Or Registered With The Appropriate Professional Organization. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Standards And Has The Proper Credentials To Practice In Their Field.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Expressive Therapist, It Is Important To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Candidates Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Build Rapport With Patients And Collaborate Effectively With The Interdisciplinary Team.
