EVS - HOUSEKEEPER - PRN

1. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including patient rooms, common areas, and administrative offices.
2. Follow established protocols and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting various surfaces and equipment, in accordance with industry standards and guidelines.
3. Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks, such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking supplies.
4. Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to appropriate staff members.
5. Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials in a safe and proper manner.
6. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
7. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to cleaning and maintaining the facility.
8. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, visitors, and staff members.
9. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
10. Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay updated on new procedures and protocols related to environmental services.
11. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
12. Comply with all organizational policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
13. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
14. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and provide suggestions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of environmental services.
15. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
16. Complete all assigned tasks within designated time frames.
17. Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent customer service to patients and their families.
