  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas of the healthcare facility
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous and infectious waste in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Restock housekeeping supplies and notify appropriate staff when supplies are low
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors to promote a positive and welcoming environment
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy policies while working in patient areas
  • Attend training and educational programs to stay updated on best practices and procedures
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations while performing duties
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Supervisor or management team.
