  1. Develop and implement strategies for efficient and accurate management of healthcare information systems and processes.
  2. Oversee the maintenance and security of all medical records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. Supervise and lead a team of medical records professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of health information systems.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in healthcare information management to continuously improve processes and systems.
  6. Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records.
  7. Develop and implement policies and procedures for proper handling and storage of confidential medical information.
  8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to medical records management.
  9. Serve as a resource for staff and healthcare providers on coding and compliance regulations.
  10. Handle any issues or concerns related to medical records in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Collaborate with IT department to ensure proper functioning and maintenance of health information systems.
  12. Participate in budget planning and management related to medical records and health information management.
  13. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as insurance companies and government agencies.
  14. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of medical records and health information management.
  15. Represent the organization in professional associations and conferences related to healthcare information management.
