  1. Prepare and serve meals to patients in accordance with their dietary needs and restrictions.
  2. Monitor and record patient food intake and report any concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  4. Assist with inventory management and ordering of food and supplies.
  5. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure food is prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
  6. Collaborate with the dietary team and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients' nutritional needs are met.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or special requests.
  8. Adhere to all dietary protocols and procedures established by the facility.
  9. Participate in meal planning and menu development to ensure a variety of nutritious options are available to patients.
  10. Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on best practices in nutrition and patient care.
  11. Assist with special events and catering within the facility as needed.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Food Service Or Kitchen Operations, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Basic Nutrition And Special Dietary Needs, Including Allergies And Dietary Restrictions.

  • Ability To Follow Recipes And Menus, And Accurately Measure And Portion Food.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well With Patients, Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Physical Ability To Stand For Extended Periods Of Time, Lift And Carry Up To 25 Pounds, And Navigate A Fast-Paced Work Environment.
