  1. Provide legal support and guidance for healthcare operations and merger & acquisition activities.
  2. Conduct legal due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.
  3. Draft and review transactional documents, including purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and other related documents.
  4. Advise on regulatory and compliance issues related to healthcare operations and mergers & acquisitions.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate potential risks.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in healthcare law.
  7. Represent the company in negotiations with external parties.
  8. Identify and analyze legal issues and provide strategic recommendations for resolution.
  9. Manage external legal counsel and ensure timely and effective legal support.
  10. Conduct legal research and provide guidance on complex legal matters.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  12. Communicate legal advice and recommendations clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
  13. Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to healthcare operations and mergers & acquisitions.
  14. Handle any other legal matters related to healthcare operations and mergers & acquisitions as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Healthcare Operations And Mergers & Acquisitions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Hospital Operations, Regulatory Requirements, And Financial Management. They Should Also Have Experience In Navigating Mergers And Acquisitions Processes.

  • Legal Background And Understanding Of Healthcare Laws: A Successful Counsel In This Role Should Possess A Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree And Be Licensed To Practice Law In The Relevant State. They Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations, Such As Hipaa, Stark Law, And Anti-Kickback Statute.

  • Experience In Negotiating And Drafting Contracts: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Negotiating And Drafting Complex Contracts Related To Healthcare Operations And Mergers & Acquisitions. This Includes But Is Not Limited To Purchase Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, And Employment Contracts.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Counsel Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Financial And Legal Data, Identifying Potential Risks And Opportunities, And Providing Solutions To Complex Problems. Therefore, The Candidate Must Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Part Of The Leadership Team, The Counsel Will Be Required To Communicate Effectively With Various Stakeholders, Including C-Suite Executives, Outside Counsel, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Should Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships With These Stakeholders.
