As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our Core Lab and Molecular Pathology department, ensuring accurate and efficient testing processes.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the Core Lab and Molecular Pathology department to ensure efficient and accurate testing processes.
  2. Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure quality control.
  3. Manage and train laboratory staff, providing ongoing support, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of test results.
  6. Utilize data analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Stay current with advancements in technology and industry trends related to Core Lab and Molecular Pathology.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  9. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  10. Develop and manage departmental budget, including forecasting and cost-saving measures.
  11. Act as a liaison between the Core Lab and Molecular Pathology department and other departments within the organization.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues that may arise.
  13. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the department.
  14. Maintain accurate and organized records and reports related to laboratory operations.
  15. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding laboratory services and results.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Core Lab Or Molecular Pathology Department.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Operations, Including Quality Control, Regulatory Compliance, And Proficiency Testing.

  • Experience Managing A Team Of Laboratory Professionals, Including Hiring, Training, And Performance Evaluations.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Molecular Biology Technologist (Mbt) From A Nationally Recognized Organization, Such As Ascp Or Amt.
