Job Description

  1. Prepare and cook high-quality and nutritious meals for patients and staff according to established menus and dietary requirements.
  2. Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented in a timely, efficient, and sanitary manner.
  3. Monitor and maintain food inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are on hand.
  4. Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  5. Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and develop menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of patients.
  6. Communicate with patients and staff to ensure their dietary needs and preferences are met.
  7. Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
  8. Assist with the training and supervision of kitchen staff, ensuring that they adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  9. Keep accurate records of food and supply inventory, as well as daily production logs.
  10. Adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements as needed.
  11. Stay updated on current culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of food and services provided.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  13. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate meal services and ensure efficient operations.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and stored.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Professional Kitchen Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Institutional Setting.
