Job Description

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for interventional radiology and neuro cath lab procedures? Universal Health Services is seeking a Charge RN for our IR/Neuro Cath Lab at Temecula Valley Hospital. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while utilizing your leadership skills to guide and support our team of dedicated nurses.   1. Provide exceptional patient care in interventional radiology and neuro cath lab procedures.
  2. Utilize strong leadership skills to guide and support a team of dedicated nurses.
  3. Ensure quality and safety of patient care by following established protocols and procedures.
  4. Serve as a resource and mentor for other nurses in the department.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  6. Monitor and assess patient progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  7. Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  8. Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper functioning and availability of equipment and supplies.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current trends and advancements in interventional radiology and neuro cath lab procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with developing and implementing new processes and procedures.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  14. Act as a role model for professional behavior and promote a positive work culture.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve nursing practices to provide the highest level of patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bls And Acls Certification

  • Valid Rn License In The State Of California

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Interventional Radiology And/Or Neuro Cath Lab

  • Previous Charge Nurse Experience Preferred

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Prioritize Multiple Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
