- Conduct cardiac echocardiograms on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain accurate and comprehensive diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues to ensure proper functioning and accuracy of results.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Educate patients on the purpose and process of the procedure, as well as any necessary preparations or follow-up care.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiac technology and techniques.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients and their families.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance.
- Participate in department meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.
Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Echocardiograms In A Clinical Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology.
Ability To Operate And Maintain Echocardiography Equipment And Troubleshoot Technical Issues.
