We are currently seeking a compassionate and driven Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for our night shift. As a BHT, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their daily activities and providing a supportive and therapeutic environment.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with behavioral health needs.
  2. Assist patients with their daily activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and recreational activities.
  3. Create and maintain a supportive and therapeutic environment for patients.
  4. Monitor and document patients' behaviors and progress.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  7. Implement treatment plans as directed by the healthcare team.
  8. Collaborate with other BHTs and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  9. Attend and actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  11. Act as a role model for patients by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and positive behavior.
  12. Possess a strong understanding of behavioral health disorders and treatment approaches.
  13. Keep accurate records and documentation of patient care and progress.
  14. Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively.
  15. Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With Preference Given To Candidates With Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Psychology, Social Work, Or Counseling.

  • Previous Experience In A Behavioral Health Or Mental Health Setting, Preferably In An Inpatient Or Residential Treatment Facility.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With Various Mental Health Disorders And Their Treatment, Including Crisis Intervention And De-Escalation Techniques.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Patient Population And Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Treatment Team.

  • Flexibility To Work Night Shifts And Weekends, As Well As The Ability To Handle A Fast-Paced And Often Unpredictable Work Environment.
