Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of individuals with mental health issues to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide support and guidance to individuals struggling with behavioral health disorders.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
- Educate clients and their families on coping strategies and resources for managing mental health issues.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of behavioral health services.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of behavioral health.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients.
- Act as an advocate for clients and ensure their needs and rights are being met.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Collaborate with community resources to provide additional support and services for clients.
- Demonstrate a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with a diverse population.
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Behavioral Health Setting.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities For Mental Health And Substance Abuse.
Ability To Provide Crisis Intervention And Handle Potentially Volatile Situations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With Patients, Families, And Multidisciplinary Teams.
