Universal Health Services is currently seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer to join our dynamic team.   1. Provide comprehensive and individualized athletic training services to a variety of athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  2. Develop and implement effective treatment plans for acute and chronic injuries in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of athletes’ injuries and overall physical health to determine appropriate course of action.
  4. Communicate clearly and effectively with athletes, coaches, and other team members regarding injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation progress.
  5. Collaborate with coaches and other athletic training staff to develop and implement injury prevention programs for athletes.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all athletes, including treatment plans, progress notes, and injury reports.
  7. Stay current with latest trends and developments in athletic training and sports medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to athletic training and healthcare.
  9. Work closely with athletes to educate them on proper stretching, conditioning, and injury prevention techniques.
  10. Promote overall health and wellness of athletes through proper nutrition, hydration, and rest.
  11. Assist with emergency and first aid situations during practices and games.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to athlete care.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean athletic training facility.
  14. Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary modifications.
  15. Serve as a role model for athletes by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and dedication to the field of athletic training.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field

  • Certification From The National Athletic Trainers' Association Board Of Certification (Nataboc)

  • State Licensure As An Athletic Trainer

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Athletes In A Clinical Or Team Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Injury Assessment, Treatment, And Rehabilitation Protocols For A Variety Of Sports And Athletic Activities
