  1. Conduct patient assessments: As an Admissions - Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patient assessments to determine their current health status and any immediate care needs.
  2. Coordinate admissions process: You will be responsible for coordinating the admissions process, including reviewing patient records, verifying insurance coverage, and obtaining necessary medical information.
  3. Communicate with patients and families: You will be the primary point of contact for patients and their families during the admissions process. It will be your responsibility to provide clear and compassionate communication to address any questions or concerns they may have.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team: You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process for patients.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulations: You will be responsible for ensuring that all admissions procedures, documentation, and patient information are in compliance with state and federal regulations.

  7. Maintain accurate records: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including admission information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  8. Monitor patient progress: Throughout the admissions process, you will need to monitor and document patient progress to ensure that their care needs are being met.
  9. Adhere to universal precautions: As an Admissions - Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be responsible for adhering to all universal precautions and infection control policies to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  10. Continuously improve processes: You will be expected to continuously evaluate and improve the admissions process to enhance the overall patient experience and ensure efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers.

  • Valid License As A Licensed Vocational Nurse (Lvn) In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Admissions Or Patient Registration.
