High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Typically Required For The Role Of Utilities Department - Operating Technician Ii At United States Steel.
Technical Training Or Certification: Candidates Should Have Completed Technical Training Or Certification In Areas Such As Mechanical Or Electrical Systems, Industrial Maintenance, Or Process Technology. This Will Provide A Strong Foundation For Understanding The Complex Systems And Equipment Used In The Utilities Department.
Previous Experience In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Environment. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Ability To Work With Heavy Equipment And Understand Safety Procedures In A Production Setting.
