  1. Operate and maintain the hot rolling mill to ensure efficient and high-quality production of steel.
  2. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers and team members to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
  4. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and technologies to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  7. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on mill operations and procedures.
  8. Communicate regularly with management and other departments to provide updates on production, issues, and improvement strategies.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation for equipment, procedures, and processes.
  10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects to increase efficiency, quality, and safety in the hot mill.
  11. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  13. Collaborate with purchasing and supply chain teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary supplies and materials.
  14. Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce production costs.
  15. Provide technical support and expertise to other departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Hot Mill Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Hot Mill Processes And Equipment, Including Rolling Mills, Furnaces, And Cooling Systems.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Work Collaboratively With Other Departments.
