  1. Oversee and manage the electrical systems and equipment at United States Steel, ensuring they are running safely and efficiently.
  2. Lead a team of electricians and other technical staff, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.
  3. Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans for all electrical systems, taking into consideration safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Monitor and analyze electrical data and performance metrics, making adjustments and improvements as necessary to ensure optimal functioning.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and teams to troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that may arise.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices, and make recommendations for incorporating them into our processes.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
  9. Train and mentor new electricians, providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to provide updates, report issues, and make recommendations.

Job Qualifications
  • Master Electrician Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Master Electrician Certification From An Accredited Institution.

  • Prior Experience In Electrical Management: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing A Team Of Electricians In An Industrial Setting Is Required For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Electrical Codes And Regulations: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations Related To Electrical Work And Ensure Compliance At All Times.

  • Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Manage The Electrical Systems And Equipment At The Facility.
