
Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner
We are looking for a talented and experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to join the United States Department of Labor. As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for assessing incoming workers' compensation claims, determining eligibility, and providing appropriate compensation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:
- Review incoming workers' compensation claims and determine eligibility.
- Calculate and provide appropriate compensation to approved claimants.
- Maintain accurate records of claims processing activities.
- Investigate claims to ensure they meet eligibility criteria.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide information regarding their claims.
- Work with medical professionals to obtain detailed information regarding the claimant’s injury.
- Utilize computer systems to update and maintain client information.
- Monitor and stay current with changes in workers’ compensation laws and regulations.
- Provide administrative support for the Workers' Compensation team.
- Adhere to the United States Department of Labor’s standards and guidelines.
