Job Description

The United States Department of Labor is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprenticeship and Training Program Specialist. If you are looking to make a difference in the lives of millions of Americans, this is the job for you!The successful candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; at least 3 years of experience working in apprenticeship or training program administration; excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations relating to apprenticeship and training programs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement apprenticeship and training programs that meet the requirements of the US Department of Labor.
  2. Monitor and assess the progress of apprenticeship and training programs to ensure they are meeting their objectives.
  3. Provide guidance and advice to apprentices and trainees on their educational and career development.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to promote apprenticeship and training programs to potential applicants.
  5. Collect, analyze, and report data related to apprenticeship and training programs.
  6. Monitor and review program budgets and expenses.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as employers, schools, and government agencies.
  8. Track and monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding apprenticeship and training programs.
  9. Ensure apprenticeship and training programs are in line with industry standards and are providing high-quality services.
  10. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of apprenticeship and training programs.
