
Coordinator - Operations (U.S.-Africa Business Center)
Build and manage USAfBC social media presence. Arrange and manage logistics, including briefing materials for events and meetings. Handle external communications with members, domestic and foreign government stakeholders, and African regional American Chambers of Commerce. Maintain Africa contact database. Help develop topics and content for publications (e.g., op-eds, position papers, and marketing materials). Assist with fundraising and member relations and manage all invoicing for USAfBC. Provide administrative support, including scheduling, drafting contracts, and updating budget spreadsheets.
2 years’ related work experience, preferably in operations in a membership or association setting.
A self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
Familiarity with the political, business, or economic landscape in Africa preferred.
French or Portuguese language skills preferred.
Experience interacting with business executives and government officials and their staff.
