Job Description

  1. Develop and implement training programs that align with Union Pacific Railroad's goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and create a comprehensive training plan.
  3. Conduct training sessions for new and existing employees, utilizing various methods such as in-person, virtual, and e-learning.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and other metrics.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development to continuously improve our programs.
  6. Maintain training records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  7. Communicate with employees at all levels to promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
  8. Work closely with other teams to ensure consistency and alignment of training materials and messaging.
  9. Collaborate with external training providers and vendors to source and implement new training resources.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the training process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Human Resources, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Training And Development, Preferably In A Transportation Or Logistics Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Instructional Design Principles And Adult Learning Theory.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills.

  • Experience With Learning Management Systems And Other Training Technologies.
