- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and create training plans to address them.
- Monitor and track employee progress through training programs, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions, both in-person and online, utilizing a variety of training methods and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of employee training and certifications, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training programs to ensure they are effective and up-to-date.
- Communicate with employees and managers to promote the importance of training and address any concerns or issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in training and incorporate them into our programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure training programs are consistent across the organization.
- Represent Union Pacific Railroad in a professional manner and promote a positive company culture.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Education, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Training And Development, Preferably In A Transportation Or Logistics Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Methods.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Employees At All Levels Of The Organization.
Proven Ability To Develop And Deliver Training Programs, Including Conducting Needs Assessments, Creating Training Materials, And Evaluating Program Effectiveness.
