Job Description

  1. Develop and implement training programs that align with Union Pacific Railroad's goals and objectives.
  2. Coordinate and schedule training sessions for employees across different departments.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and determine appropriate training solutions.
  4. Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.
  5. Evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  6. Keep track of employee training records and ensure they are up to date.
  7. Monitor and manage training budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  8. Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  9. Communicate with employees at all levels to promote training opportunities and gather feedback.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  11. Maintain relationships with external training vendors.
  12. Conduct assessments and surveys to measure the impact of training on employee performance.
  13. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to training.
  14. Mentor and provide guidance to new trainers or employees responsible for delivering training.
  15. Continually seek ways to improve and innovate the training process to meet the changing needs of the company.
