  1. Coordinate and implement training programs for employees at Union Pacific Railroad.
  2. Develop and maintain training schedules, ensuring all employees receive necessary training within appropriate timelines.
  3. Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop appropriate training materials.
  4. Monitor and track employee training progress and ensure completion of required training.
  5. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  6. Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  7. Communicate with employees about training opportunities and requirements.
  8. Provide support and assistance to trainers and trainees during training sessions.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  10. Proactively identify and address any issues or concerns related to training processes and procedures.
  11. Assist in the development of new training programs to meet the evolving needs of the company.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment of training efforts.
  13. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive training information.
  14. Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure training needs are met.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline training processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Training And Development, Preferably In A Railroad Or Transportation Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Training And Development Principles And Best Practices

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Coach Employees At All Levels

  • Proficiency In Learning Management Systems And Other Training Software, As Well As Microsoft Office Suite.
