- Monitor Train Movement: The Train Dispatcher will be responsible for monitoring the movement of trains across the Union Pacific Railroad network. This includes tracking train locations, speeds, and schedules to ensure safe and efficient train operations.

Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Railroad Operations Or Dispatching Role.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal Railroad Administration (Fra) Regulations And Safety Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure.
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software Used For Train Dispatching, Such As Train Management Systems (Tms) And Dispatch Control Systems.
