- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production demands.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain processes with overall business goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor supply chain team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain operations.

- Lead and participate in supply chain improvement projects.
- Manage supplier relationships and address any issues or concerns.
- Utilize supply chain software and tools to track and optimize inventory levels and supply chain processes.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of supply chain operations.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain team.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Transportation Or Railroad Industry.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Sourcing, Procurement, Inventory Management, And Transportation Logistics.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements.
Experience With Supply Chain Technology And Systems, Such As Enterprise Resource Planning (Erp) Software And Transportation Management Systems (Tms).
