  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  2. Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production demands.
  3. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  4. Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain processes with overall business goals.

  10. Lead and participate in supply chain improvement projects.
  11. Manage supplier relationships and address any issues or concerns.
  12. Utilize supply chain software and tools to track and optimize inventory levels and supply chain processes.
  13. Develop and maintain performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of supply chain operations.
  14. Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  15. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain team.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Transportation Or Railroad Industry.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Sourcing, Procurement, Inventory Management, And Transportation Logistics.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements.

  • Experience With Supply Chain Technology And Systems, Such As Enterprise Resource Planning (Erp) Software And Transportation Management Systems (Tms).
