Knowledge Of Railroad Safety Regulations: A Quality Assurance Inspector At Union Pacific Railroad Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Safety Regulations And Policies Applicable To Railroad Operations. This Includes A Working Knowledge Of Federal Railroad Administration (Fra) Regulations And Industry Best Practices.
Attention To Detail: As A Quality Assurance Inspector, One Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And The Ability To Identify Potential Hazards Or Defects In Equipment, Processes, And Procedures. This Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Precision In All Aspects Of The Job.
Experience In Quality Control: Candidates For This Position Should Have Prior Experience In Quality Control, Preferably In A Railroad Or Transportation Setting. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Processes, Tools, And Techniques Such As Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis, And Corrective Action Planning.
