  1. Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform regular and thorough inspections of products, processes, and services to ensure they meet the established quality standards.
  2. Identify Defects: Use specialized tools and techniques to identify defects or deviations from quality standards and report them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  3. Record and Document Findings: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality inspections, including findings, corrective actions taken, and follow-up measures.
  4. Communicate with Team: Collaborate with other team members and departments to communicate quality issues, provide feedback, and ensure that quality standards are met throughout the organization.
  5. Develop and Implement Quality Control Procedures: Continuously evaluate and improve quality control procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  6. Train and Mentor Staff: Train and mentor staff on quality control processes, tools, and techniques to ensure a consistent and high level of quality across all operations.
  7. Participate in Audits: Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  8. Stay Current with Industry Standards: Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices to ensure that our quality control processes remain effective and efficient.
  9. Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in problem-solving initiatives to drive continuous improvement in quality standards, processes, and procedures.
  10. Uphold Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Quality Assurance Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Quality Assurance Processes And Procedures, Including Iso 9001 Standards And Six Sigma Methodologies.

  • Attention To Detail: A Quality Assurance Inspector Must Be Detail-Oriented And Have A Keen Eye For Identifying Potential Quality Issues. They Should Be Able To Conduct Thorough Inspections And Document Any Findings Accurately.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role As The Quality Assurance Inspector Will Need To Communicate Findings, Recommendations, And Corrective Action Plans To Various Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Experience In Railroad Industry: Prior Experience Working In The Railroad Industry, Particularly With Union Pacific Railroad, Is Preferred. This Will Ensure A Thorough Understanding Of Industry-Specific Quality Standards And Regulations.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Trends, And Troubleshoot Issues Is Essential For A Quality Assurance Inspector. They Should Be Able To Think Critically And Provide Solutions To Improve Quality Processes And Procedures.
