  1. Source and procure materials and services for the company.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products and services.
  4. Collaborate with various departments within the company to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
  5. Review and evaluate purchase requests to determine the best sourcing strategy.
  6. Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of purchases and deliveries.
  8. Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers, including pricing, quality, and delivery.
  9. Remain updated on industry trends and advancements in supply chain management to make strategic purchasing decisions.
  10. Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives.
  11. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.
  12. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
  13. Prepare and present reports to management on purchasing activities and performance.
  14. Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while performing all job duties.
  15. Continuously strive to improve purchasing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Purchasing, Preferably In The Transportation Or Logistics Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Supply Chain Processes, Contract Negotiation, And Vendor Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions.
