  1. Coordinate and oversee the transportation and distribution of goods across the Union Pacific Railroad network.
  2. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers by closely monitoring train schedules and making necessary adjustments.
  3. Work closely with various departments within the company, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  4. Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, delivery dates, and any issues or delays.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on their shipments and address any concerns or inquiries.
  6. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and prevent stock shortages.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other business partners to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve logistics operations.
  10. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
  11. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations to ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods.
  12. Train and mentor new team members to ensure a strong and capable logistics team.
  13. Represent Union Pacific Railroad in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  14. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of the job.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Logistics Or Transportation Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Quick And Effective Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Team And Communicate With Various Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance, Including Dot And Federal Railroad Administration Requirements.
