
Human Resources Coordinator

- Manage all aspects of employee onboarding, including conducting new hire orientation and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job titles, and benefits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Coordinate and organize employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide recommendations to management for improvements in employee retention.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR initiatives and programs that align with company goals and values.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a mediator in employee relations issues, working to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of HR reports and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in company-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives and projects.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or Related Field: A Human Resources Coordinator At Union Pacific Railroad Should Have A Strong Educational Background In The Field Of Human Resources To Effectively Understand And Implement Company Policies And Procedures.
Previous Experience In A Human Resources Role: Union Pacific Railroad May Prefer Candidates With Prior Experience In A Human Resources Role, Preferably Within A Similar Industry. This Would Demonstrate The Candidate's Knowledge And Understanding Of Hr Practices And Regulations.
