High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged Is Required For The Position Of Equipment Operator At Union Pacific Railroad. This Ensures That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Can Understand And Follow Instructions.
Relevant Work Experience: Previous Work Experience In Operating Heavy Equipment, Such As Bulldozers, Excavators, And Loaders, Is Preferred. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Handle And Operate Complex Machinery.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): A Cdl With Appropriate Endorsements Is Required For The Equipment Operator Position At Union Pacific Railroad. This Ensures That Candidates Are Trained And Qualified To Operate Heavy Equipment On Public Roads.
