- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks within designated timelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns or issues.
- Understand and adhere to all regulations and guidelines set by Union Pacific Railroad and relevant government agencies.

Experience Operating Heavy Equipment: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Operating Heavy Equipment Such As Excavators, Bulldozers, Cranes, Etc. This Experience Should Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Equipment Operation And Safety Protocols.
Knowledge Of Railroad Industry: A Strong Understanding Of The Railroad Industry, Including Track Maintenance And Construction Procedures, Is Essential For An Equipment Operator At Union Pacific Railroad. Candidates Should Possess Knowledge Of Track Layouts, Railroad Safety Regulations, And Basic Signaling Systems.
Physical Strength And Endurance: The Job Of An Equipment Operator At Union Pacific Railroad Requires Physical Strength And Endurance. Candidates Must Be Able To Work Long Hours, Lift Heavy Objects, And Operate Equipment In Various Weather Conditions.
