- Provide guidance and training to employees on environmental regulations and best practices.
- Develop and maintain environmental management systems to track and monitor environmental performance.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential environmental hazards.
- Respond to environmental incidents and emergencies, and coordinate with appropriate agencies and teams to ensure a timely and effective response.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency in environmental processes and procedures.
- Represent Union Pacific in meetings, conferences, and other events related to environmental issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external environmental organizations and stay informed on industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into project planning and decision-making processes.
- Participate in the development of sustainability goals and strategies for the company.
- Mentor and train junior environmental specialists and provide guidance on complex environmental issues.

Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Engineering, Or Related Field.
